We’ve improved the Orthodontist app interface to make taking a suitable side-profile photo and completing an AI-based orthodontic assessment easier and more intuitive.

What’s new?

1. Clearer photo-taking guidelines

Visual instructions help users capture a suitable side-profile image, with the face facing right and the forehead, ear, and neck visible.

2. Step-by-step photo guidance

Updated instructions explain important requirements, including good lighting, a plain background, no glasses or beard, and closed lips.

3. A more intuitive scanning process

Refined screens guide users from photo selection to photo validation and make it easier to return and retake a photo when necessary.

4. Clearer access to orthodontist feedback

AI-based preliminary assessment is free. Users can request feedback from a real orthodontist for $0.99.

These improvements aim to make photo capture easier, reduce avoidable photo errors, and help users navigate the app with greater confidence.

The AI assessment is intended for preliminary screening and does not replace an in-person examination or diagnosis by a qualified orthodontist.
